POPCHAR OS X FOR MAC OS

Only supplying 64 bit version for Mac OS as 10.15 and later require it.ħ December 2017. Compiled with latest version of Xojo system requirements now Mac OS 10.10.5 and later, Windows 7.1SP1 and later, Linux: Linux Mint 16, CentOS 7.0, Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, Debian 6.0, OpenSUSE 11.3, Fedora 13 Desktop or later (for all). LSQ List Window now will hide/reverse current selection from the contextual menu (same behavior as Sample List window). Fixes using the local (locality-specific) preferences file, if present. Returns italicizing steps in the sample window that are being hidden also now shades them dark gray. Rewrote the full-screen feature it now works for individual windows, using the familiar green button in the window title.

POPCHAR OS X UPGRADE

This upgrade requires OS X 10.11 (El Capitan) or better. Checkboxes did not show up correctly in the Search Disk window this has been fixed. PopChar even highlights characters that are not available. PopChar shows some typical characters and sample text fragments in the selected font to give you an impression of the font's properties. I tried changing the system font but that did not help so I changed back to the default. For example, in the lower right corner the time reads 7 29AM and in File Explorer a file name that should be VCMC T&O.docx reads VCMC T^0O.docx. New computer displays symbols for special characters. Note the download links are well down the page so you are forced to see some of the warnings and whatnot. I haven't been trying to add features but see this code being cited enough that it seemed worth updating the compilation. This is the download page for the increasingly ancient PaleoMag software.
